Gale: led from front with second one-day hundred for Yorkshire
Yorkshire skipper Andrew Gale struck a century to set up a 93-run victory over Kent, the Tykes' first win of this season's Clydesdale Bank 40.
Opening batsman Gale was run out for 112 off 114 balls, which included 11 fours and two sixes, as the visitors piled up 254-7 after opting to bat first at Canterbury.
He was well supported by Joe Root (43) and Gerard Brophy (28) during stands worth 124 and 57 for the third and fourth wickets respectively.
Kent were skittled for 161 in 31.4 overs in reply, Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid claiming figures of 3-30 after new-ball pair Ryan Sidebottom (2-19) and Tim Bresnan (2-34) had done the early damage.
Darren Stevens' 39 was the top score of a miserable effort from Kent.
