Tuohy and McKeon agree new deals, Moore to join from Quins

Connacht have been buoyed by a trio of signings ahead of next season's campaign. Winger Brian Tuohy, academy prospect Eoin McKeon and Harlequins scrum-half David Moore have all put pen to paper on deals at the club. Tuohy is delighted at signing a contract extension after arriving in Galway from Championship side Cornish Pirates in 2009. "I'm delighted to continue my time here at Connacht, there's a real buzz about the squad at the moment and we're playing some great rugby," he said. "It's a pleasure to be a part of this team and hopefully we can finish the league out with some great performances."

Grateful

Powerful back-rower McKeon has signed a development contract after impressing in the academy. "I am extremely grateful to academy manager Nigel Carolan for helping me to make the step and I look forward to being part of the senior squad next season." he said. "I am delighted to be making the next step in my career here at Connacht." Connacht has also secured the services of 22-year-old Irish scrum-half Moore, who is relishing at the prospect of moving back to his homeland. "I'm thrilled to be returning back home to Ireland and I'm really looking forward to working under Eric Elwood," he said. "They are playing a very positive brand of rugby and I look forward to being part of the set-up."
