New deals for Swainston, Denman and Denton; Burrell to leave

Leeds have been buoyed by news Phil Swainston, Gareth Denman and Tom Denton have all agreed new two-year deals. Swainston, 21, has made 41 appearances for the club since making his debut, while fellow prop Denman, 20, has been pushing hard for regular inclusions in the squad. Denton, a 23-year-old lock, has established himself as a key figure in the Carnegie pack this season. And head coach Neil Back is delighted that the trio have committed their futures to Headingley. Back told the club's official site: "Leeds Carnegie has a strong tradition of giving young players the chance to play at the highest level and all three of these players are proud Yorkshireman who love playing for their club. "We are in the process of securing our squad for next season and this is great news on the back of Marco Wentzel's new contract last week." However while Swainston, Denman and Denton will remain at the club, Luther Burrell has turned down the offer of a new deal.
