May: Happy at new deal
Gloucester centre Jonny May has admitted he is relieved to have sealed a new contract to stay at the club.
The 19-year-old has impressed since breaking into the first team - marking his Premiership debut last season with a try against Leicester.
And the Gloucester academy graduate claims that the new deal is a huge weight off of his mind.
"It's nice to get it all cleared up so I can just concentrate on the rest of the season," he told the club's official site.
"Players will be going away on Six Nations international duty so there's a good opportunity for me to play a part.
"It's a really big couple of years for me and I want to focus and work hard so that hopefully by the end of it, I'll be featuring in the first team on a regular basis.
"Gloucester has been a great place to learn my rugby. I've come through the ranks here at Hartpury and Gloucester alongside my best mate Henry Trinder and we've pushed each other the whole way.
"We've also both benefitted from being able to train and play alongside the very best in people like Tins (Mike Tindall) and Eli (Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu) who have taught us a lot."
