Downpour scuppers hopes of result against Trinidad and Tobago

Rain forced the abandonment of Hampshire's match against Trinidad and Tobago at the Caribbean T20 on Wednesday. Trinidad and Tobago had reached 16-3 after five overs, including two wickets for Hamza Riazuddin (2-11), when rain stopped play for the first time at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. That prompted the game to be reduced to 12 overs per side. However, when play resumed only 4.5 further overs were possible - Trinidad and Tobago improving to 70-4 thanks mainly to Darren Bravo's 28 not out - before further rain meant the match had to be called off. Both sides collected one point from the Group B fixture.
