Nadolo: Exeter bound
Exeter Chiefs are close to completing the signing of Fiji international Nemani Nadolo from Top 14 strugglers Bourgoin.
The 23-year-old winger has been monitored by the Chiefs since scoring against them in the Amlin Challenge Cup in October.
Nadolo was part of the crowd as Exeter beat Bourgoin 17-6 in the return fixture on Saturday, with injury ruling him out of the game.
And with Bourgoin beset by financial issues, Chiefs coach Rob Baxter has agreed a deal to bring Nadolo to Sandy Park for the rest of the season - with Exeter just waiting on a visa.
"We became aware of Nemani when we did our analysis of Bourgoin before we played them in France and he then played well against us in the fixture itself," said Baxter.
"After some research we found out he was out of contract next season, and then Bourgoin's problems this season meant he became available now.
"He is a big, powerful and fast player and is only 23. He is a good player who we feel can develop further and will suit our style of play and Premiership rugby.
"Hopefully we can get his visa sorted quickly enough for him to have some involvement in the LV= Cup games in the next month."
The winger revealed the deal on Twitter, saying: "To save confusion, I have signed with Exeter for the rest of the season."
