Elima: Bradford switch
Bradford Bulls have continued to reshape their squad for next season with the signing of France captain Olivier Elima on a two-year contract.
"The Bulls haven't been where they should be over the last couple of years but with a new coach and some new players we will get back to where we want to be."
Olivier Elima Quotes of the week
The back rower, 27, has spent the last three seasons with Catalans Dragons and, prior to that, had a spell at Wakefield Wildcats.
"The Bulls haven't been where they should be over the last couple of years but with a new coach and some new players we will get back to where we want to be," he said.
"I had three good years in Perpignan but I've always said that I would be happy to go back to England at some point. Bradford are a big club and I'm excited about the move."
Bulls chairman Peter Hood was thrilled to secure Elima's signature.
"We are delighted that Olivier has joined us for the next two seasons," he said.
Uncompromising
"He is an international player of renown who greatly will improve our pack, both in attack and defence.
"He is a strong runner and an uncompromising defender, attributes we feel we need to compete at the highest level."
Elima, who will lead France in the European Cup in October, becomes the Bulls' fifth recruit for 2011 and links up with coach Mick Potter, who took him to the Dragons from Wakefield in 2008.
He will join Bryn Hargreaves (St Helens), Chev Walker (Hull KR), Shaun Ainscough (Wigan) and Patrick Ah Van in a new-look Bradford squad.
