Having initially been dropped by the Wallabies ahead of the Tri-Nations, Mitchell has been in superb form - but he suffered the injury in the build up to his try in the 41-39 victory over South Africa.

He will now miss the clash against the All Blacks - with Peter Hynes and Lachie Turner the leading contenders to replace him on the left flank.

Nick Cummins, Pat McCabe and Cameron Shepherd could also all come into contention.
