Cook: fitness battle
England Lions captain Alastair Cook could return to action in the final of the triangular tournament on July 8.
The Essex opener was ruled out of the final round-robin match against India A at New Road on Tuesday, the third game in a row he has missed due to a back problem.
But Cook is set to resume net practice and will participate in the final if he suffers no reaction.
The Lions, who have won three in a row, are already guaranteed to progress. India A need a victory on Tuesday to deny West Indies A the other place.
Meanwhile, Lancashire spinner Stephen Parry has been drafted into the Lions' squad for the final in place of Kent's James Tredwell.
Tredwell will link up with the seniors for the one-day series against Bangladesh.
