Martyn Moxon has asked national selector Geoff Miller to outline England's plans for leg spinner Adil Rashid.
Leg spinner at a "crucial phase" in his cricketing career
Yorkshire director of professional cricket Martyn Moxon admits he is concerned by the lack of over bowled by Adil Rashid.
The leg spinner has spent the winter on tour with England in South Africa but has struggled to break into both the one-day and Test team.
Rashid has long been earmarked as a future international star having impressed in the domestic game, both with bat and ball.
Moxon has now asked national selector Geoff Miller to outline England's plans for the 21-year-old at what he feels is a "crucial phase" of his career.

"I'm a little bit concerned about what's happening at the moment because Adil is not really bowling the number of overs he needs to be bowling to develop," he told the
Yorkshire Post.
"The number of overs he's bowled in competitive cricket since last winter is very few and I've asked Geoff Miller what plans England have for him and I'm waiting to hear back.
"Personally, I think if Adil's sat on his backside and bowling in the nets all winter that's not really the best thing for him. If he doesn't play a great deal between now and April it could take us half a season to get him right, and we can ill-afford for that to happen.
"I'm not unhappy with the way England have handled him and I'm certainly not going to criticise England. It's just I think this is a crucial phase of Adil's development and he's the type of bowler who needs regular cricket.
"Leg-spin is an extremely difficult art to master and his confidence is still fragile at such a young age."
Rashid, who has taken 171 first-class wickets in 53 matches, has played in five one-dayers and four Twenty20 Internationals for England.
His last appearance was in the second game of the ODI series against the Proteas in Centurion, where he bowled three wicketless overs for 27 runs in a seven-wicket win for the tourists.
