"I look forward to winning more trophies with this remarkable club in years to come."
Luke Wright Quotes of the week

The 24-year-old has become an integral part of the Sharks' first-team since joining in 2003, helping the club to a domestic one-day double last season.

Wright's explosive performances in the shorter form of the game have seen him establish himself as a regular member of the England set-up.

The Grantham-born all-rounder has appeared in 12 one-day internationals and eight Twenty20 matches for his country in 2009.

And, after playing a major part in Twenty20 Cup and Friends' Provident glory in 2009, Wright is delighted to have signed on with Sussex for three further years.

"The contract extension is exciting for me and I want to be a big part of a bright future for the club," said Wright, who moved to the south coast from Leicestershire at the age of 18.

"I love playing for Sussex and the county have been great in helping me achieve my goal of playing for England.

"I look forward to winning more trophies with this remarkable club in years to come."

Sussex coach Mark Robinson said: "Luke is one of the most exciting young players in the country and we're delighted that he has committed to the club for the immediate future."
