Ponting: retains 'full confidence' in his players
Ricky Ponting conceded Australia had been deservedly beaten in the second Ashes Test at Lord's.
"England have been the better side from the first ball - and not only in the big moments."

The tourists were bowled out for 406 just before lunch on the final morning as England clinched a 115-run win, their first over Australia at Lord's since 1934.
Ponting had no complaints with the result but backed his team, who are now 1-0 down in the five-match series, to respond in the third Test at Edgbaston, starting at July 30.
"England have been the better side from the first ball - and not only in the big moments," Ponting told Sky Sports.
"We just have to bounce back now. I have full confidence in my guys. We are going to bounce back quickly."
Ponting was the victim of a contentious umpiring decision in the first innings, when he was given out caught at slip even though replays showed the ball missed his bat.
That was one of several decisions which went against Australia in the match, but their captain refused to dwell on them.
"They are all irrelevant now," he added. "At the end of the day we've been beaten by more than 100 runs in a Test match. We can't change anything that happened."
