Mossop: Heading to the Galpharm
Huddersfield Giants have succeeded in signing Wigan back-rower Lee Mossop on a month's loan.
The 20-year-old Cumbrian, who has just returned from a temporary stint with Barrow, made three substitute appearances for the Warriors in 2008.
However, his only senior outing so far this year has been in the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
Wigan coach Brian Noble, who has also allowed centre Darrell Goulding to remain on loan at Salford, is pleased to see his fringe players gaining first-team experience.
"For some of our players the reserves is great but for some they need to play at a higher level and if that's the Championship or Super League we'll enable them to do that," Noble said.
Meanwhile, the Giants have allowed forward Joe Walsh to join Championship side Sheffield Eagles on loan.
The second-rower will join Huddersfield team-mates Tom Hemingway, Sam Crowther, Gregg McNally and Jermaine McGillvary in the Championship.
Huddersfield winger Richard Lopag has also gone to Swinton on a one-month loan and is poised to make his debut in Championship One.
