England's Ryan Sidebottom and James Anderson have both been named among the world's top 35 Test match bowlers.

Nottinghamshire left-armer Sidebottom continued his impressive return to the international arena with figures of 5-105 against New Zealand as England levelled their series against the Black Caps on Monday.

The 30-year-old has risen to a career-high 24th position in the International Cricket Council's Test rankings as a result, while his compatriot Anderson, who took 5-73 in the first innings in Wellington, is now up to 33 in the rankings.

New wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose is at number 68 in the batsmen's rankings meanwhile, following his maiden century.

And Kiwi batsman Ross Taylor is up 16 places to 58th after his knocks of 53 and 55 at the Basin Reserve.

Watch the third and final Test of the series between England and New Zealand live on Sky Sports 1 from 9pm on Friday.
