Batsman keen to continue career and available for second Test
Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has dismissed suggestions that he is planning to retire.
Inzimam, who missed the first Test against South Africa for personal reasons, says he is fit and ready to play in the second Test in Lahore if selected.
The 37-year-old quit one-day internationals after his country's poor performance at the World Cup earlier this year, but insists he remains match-fit.
"I have no plans to retire at the moment. I am available for the second Test and have told the selectors of my desire," Inzamam told the Daily Express, a Lahore-based Urdu daily.

"I would like to carry on playing Test cricket as long as I can.
"I have cancelled all my engagements in order to be available for selection. I have also cancelled my trip to London, where I was expected to be present for the hearings in the Darrell Hair case.
"I have informed the court about my decision. Right now I am concentrating on training. I would like to make my comeback memorable with an improved performance."
On his signing up for rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL), Inzamam added: "I take pride in representing my country at the highest level. But, whenever I don't have any national duty I am free to play for the club I choose."
Media reports had suggested Inzamam had reached an agreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board which would see the batsman play one last Test in Lahore before bowing out.
