Werder Bremen midfielder Aaron Hunt insists he is yet to make a decision on his future, but he has ruled out a move to Besiktas.

The 27-year-old German international, who has an English mother, is out-of-contract at the Weser Stadion and is leaving on a Bosman.

Linked with a move to the Premier League amongst others, he insists he is yet to decide where his future lies.

Hunt told BILD: "I have not agreed anything with Besiktas and it is likely I will not be joining them.

"Anyway, it is very likely I will join a foreign club. I still have not made my decision yet. I need to have the feeling that I will fit into my new club and that things will work for me. At the moment I have not picked up that feeling!"

Meanwhile, Werder have confirmed they do not want Dutch winger Eljero Elia to leave the club this summer.

The 27-year-old, who has two years left on his current deal, has started 23 Bundesliga games this season.

Team manager Robin Dutt said: "Eljero Elia is one of my key performers and I need the quality he is providing. I know what I can expect from him and I am very happy to have him at this club. I am very keen to keep him at Werder Bremen."

One player who is very much staying put is skipper Clemens Fritz, who has agreed a new one-year extension.

"It's really no news for me, I have decided to stay on already a while ago. I am really relishing to go on for a year at this club. I am looking forward to next season."

Dutt added: "Clemens Fritz has always been a sure bet for me in planning the future of Werder Bremen. I am delighted his contract has been extended. Though he is going to be available as a key player next term, too."

The club are also hoping goalkeeper Raphael Wolf will extend his contract after impressing this season.

Werder Bremen general manager Thomas Eichin said: "We are absolutely delighted about the performances of Raphael Wolf. I am going to sit down and discuss a new contract with him as soon as the current campaign is over."
