Jack Hamilton will return in goal for Hearts against Raith Rovers in Kirkcaldy as head coach Robbie Neilson looks to capitalise on an unbeaten start the league.
Hamilton gets his chance because first-choice Neil Alexander and deputy Scott Gallacher are both injured as Hearts look to build on their victories over Rangers and Hibernian.
Former Manchester United youth-team full-back Adam Eckersley has signed after a successful trial and he could be added to the squad.
A much-changed team bowed out of the Petrofac Cup at Livingston in midweek but Danny Wilson, Morgaro Gomis, Prince Buaben and Kevin McHattie will all come back in at Stark’s Park.
Neilson told the Evening News: “After the Hibs game, the main focus was on Raith Rovers. We split the squad so that we kept the team for Raith Rovers together and there was a separate squad working together for the Livingston game.”
