Kris Commons insists he has unfinished business at Celtic, and has no plans to secure a move to England.

Commons is odds-on to be named PFA Scotland Player of the Year at the upcoming awards, after impressing in yet another Celtic stroll to the SPFL title.

The 30-year-old has reportedly attracted much interest from the Premier League, with newly-promoted Leicester understood to be keen on luring the midfielder south.

However, Commons believes the opportunity for more Champions League adventures is too good to turn down.

"The grass isn't always greener elsewhere, and I have already played down south," Commons told the Daily Record.

"When you play in the Champions League and try to be competitive with Europe's elite then that's the biggest thing for me.

"I feel as though I have unfinished business in the Champions League."

Numerous players have decided to take up the option of a switch to England after impressing in the Scottish Premiership, but Commons is adamant Scotland, and especially Celtic, has more to offer than many may think.

"It doesn't bother me that Scottish football doesn't have a great reputation in England," Commons added.

"Most people down there who say that would be jealous of what we have at Celtic.

"Just about any of our home games has a better atmosphere than everything down south, aside from big derbies.

"I don't want to leave Glasgow. I love the people and I'm very happy here.
