Nathan Eccleston: Coventry loan move for Blackpool striker
Coventry City have signed striker Nathan Eccleston on loan from Blackpool for the remainder of the season.
The 23-year-old joined the Seasiders from Liverpool in August 2012 but has struggled to make an impact at Bloomfield Road and has made only five appearances for the Championship club this term.
He played three games for Carlisle during a loan spell at Brunton Park in October and he also had a brief stint on loan at Tranmere last season.
Coventry manager Steven Pressley told his club's official website: "We are going into a crucial period in the season and with only two recognised strikers in the current squad it was vital we secured a third before Thursday's deadline.
"Nathan comes into the club with great potential, and at 23 years old he has still a lot to prove.
"We certainly hope he can make a big impression between now and the season's end."
