Premier League: Pepe Mel looking at West Ham clash after Man City defeat

Pepe Mel felt West Brom were always facing a tough task after they conceded two goals in the first ten minutes at the Etihad.
West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel admits their clash with West Ham United on Saturday could decide their season.
Mel was speaking after seeing his side lose 3-1 at Manchester City.
The Baggies were behind just two minutes into the clash at the Etihad as Pablo Zabaleta scored and it was not long before that lead was doubled through Sergio Aguero.
West Brom battled back via a Graham Dorrans strike, but it was 3-1 before the break as Martin Demichelis scored.
And Mel admits that his side were always on the back foot following Zabaleta's early opener.
"With conceding the goal in the third minute, it meant we had to change our plans," he told Sky Sports.
"Playing against Manchester City and being 2-0 down after ten minutes makes things difficult but our players really tried for the last 80-minutes."
With West Brom just three points off the bottom three, Mel says that their clash against West Ham on Saturday is their biggest of the season.
"The next game really is like a cup final, our whole season is on one game with West Ham," he said.
"It's the most important game since I became head coach. I hope stadium is full of our fans to help us"
