Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is excited about Arsenal's new additions and is looking forward to a successful season.
Arsene Wenger has already completed the signings of Germany international Lukas Podolski and France striker Olivier Giroud in an attempt to strengthen for the new season.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is convinced both men can have a significant impact for the Gunners.
Asked if he was impressed by the high-profile signings, the 18-year-old midfielder told Sky Sports News: "Yeah, of course. Podolski is a massive name. I've been watching him for a number of years.
"He's got 100 caps for Germany which is a massive achievement in itself.
"Giroud is a very good striker as well. He scores goals and brings quality to the side and that's what we need.
"You've always got to bring in new players and they're fantastic signings.
"I've met them and they're both really good lads so I think we'll get on really well this year and they'll be really good to play with."
Speculation
While Arsenal have brought players in, some supporters will be more concerned with the likely exit of star striker and captain Robin van Persie.
That's not something Oxlade-Chamberlain concerns himself with and he is insistent that the speculation has not affected his own preparations for the forthcoming campaign.
"You can't read into papers," he added.
"It's not for me to talk about, that's for the boss to explain.
"For me personally, I've just come in and I've worked hard and I've concentrated on pre-season and getting ready for the new season."
