Van Persie: Few weeks out

Arsenal have welcomed Tomas Rosicky back from injury, although Robin van Persie and Johan Djourou face a spell on the sidelines.

Rosicky missed last weekend's draw with Birmingham through illness, while van Persie and Djourou picked up knocks in the Carling Cup draw with Spurs.

Van Persie, who has already missed much of the season through injury, has a thigh strain while defender Djourou has picked up a groin strain.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes the pair will both be out for a fortnight, meaning they are likely to miss the upcoming games with Fulham and Tottenham.

"Compared to last week we have Robin van Persie who is out for a few weeks," he told Arsenal TV Online. "I believe Tomas Rosicky will be okay to come back.

"But Johan Djourou is out as well. He has had an inflammation of his groin and in the next two weeks he will not be capable to play."
