Striker pens three-year deal at Turf Moor

Burnley have snapped up Junior Stanislas for an undisclosed fee from West Ham. The 21-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Clarets. Stanislas is a graduate of the famed youth academy at Upton Park and has spent his entire career to date with the Hammers. He has, however, struggled to hold down a regular role during his time in the capital and is looking forward to playing a prominent role at Turf Moor. "I am delighted to be here," Stanislas told the Clarets' official website.

"It's a big decision, but at the same time it's all about playing football. "I just want to play week in, week out and unfortunately that wasn't happening back in London. If you are not doing that at one club, then you have to look elsewhere. "That's football, so hopefully I can come here and make an impression. "Burnley seems like a good family club with good people, so I'm glad it's all gone through and I'm just eager to get playing again."
