Netball Superleague side Hertfordshire Mavericks have announced their squad for the 2015 season.

Two new shooters join the team with head of netball and head of satellite sports at Bishops Stortford College, Louisa Watson, returning to the squad having won two Superleague titles with Mavericks before. Watson will bring plenty of experience having won two Commonwealth Games bronze medals with England (2006 and 2010).

Miriama Selby-Rickit from New Zealand will also be joining the shooting roster. Selby-Rickit has represented the New Zealand U21 Indoor Netball team and the New Zealand Western National Provincial Cup team before coming to work and play in England.

Mavericks see a return to full fitness for Sophia Candappa, who joins the experienced midcourt from last season. England development player Sophie Carter has made the transition from the youth squad last year into the top 15.

The Mavericks defence this season sees Sam May, Lindsay Keable and last year's player of the season Layla Guscoth return for this campaign. Naida Hutchinson has also returned from long-term back injury.

The squad will be captained by Sasha Corbin and vice captain Camilla Buchanan.

Shooters: Louisa Watson, Miriama Selby-Rickett, Kadeen Corbin, Vicklyn Joseph, Sophie Hankin, Sarah East.
