BBL: Leicester Riders record emphatic 85-46 win over Durham Wildcats

Leicester Riders kept the pressure up on the top two in the BBL Championship table after solid defensive display in the 85-46 victory Durham Wildcats on Saturday.

Tyler Bernardini top scored with 19 points as the Riders recorded their fifth win in succession, restricting the Wildcats to the joint-lowest points tally in the BBL Championship so far this term.

Rashad Hassan also impressed with 18 points on the night, but it was Riders’ defence – the second best in the league - that stole the show by not conceding aby points for the last eight minutes of the game.

The Wildcats have now suffered consecutive defeats and are without a road win since October.

Despite holding the league's second highest field goal percentage, Wildcats shot just 29 per cent from the field and nine per cent from beyond the arc in this game.
