W Indies vs Pakistan
Pakistan level the series 1-1
The West Indies resumed their second innings on day five with their score on 130 for five, and the tourists have wrapped up the game before lunch thanks to the spin duo of Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman and some impresive fielding too. Darren Sammy provided momentary resistance with his knock of 41 and Ravi Rampaul hit an entertaining 20 but it was never going to be enough as Ajmal finished with three wickets and Rehman four - the visitors winning by 196 runs to level the two match series. Thanks for following the action with us, what a pleasure.

230 All Out - Bishoo grabs two with a heave to midwicket but then sees his partner Roach run out! He was halfway down the track, send back and with Wahab Riaz sending in the return Roach was preocupied with trying to avoid getting hit, and so forgot to run in his bat! It's out and game over! Pakistan win by 196 runs.

228-9 - OUT! Ja, way to early to be talking of a miracle comeback, because Rampaul's brief counter is now over. The left-hander went to drive into the off side but hit straight at Umar Akmal at silly mid off and the fielder holds onto a top catch, he's caught that with his forearms! Slightly unlucky for Rampaul and an entertaining innings but he's on his way now for 20. Out walks number 11 Devendra Bishoo.

226-8 - The few faithful West Indian fans that have turned out at Warner Park are getting their fair share of entertainment from Rampaul, the left-hander goes down on one knee again and powers a big heave with the turn that flies out over the midwicket fence for six! At what stage do we start talking of the Windies chances? Not quite yet.
Over 78 Ajmal 2-4b-0-0-1-0
219-8 - With the turn of the doosra Roach opens the bat and angles through thirdman for two and then watches as the next delivery evades all for four byes down the leg side. Another single then means that the Windies are over halfway in their chase - 208 runs adrift now.

212-8 - Fetch that! Rampaul goes down on one knee and slays over long on for six! And the West Indies are nearly halfway i the run chase, with 215 runs still to get.
Over 76 Ajmal 0-0-4-0-0-0
205-8 - Rampaul plays for the turn and has a dip out over the off side, getting enough bat on the stroke to clear the infield and collect four. He has another big swipe but it's the doosra which eats the inside of the bat.
Over 75 Rehman 0-0-0-0-0-4
201-8 - Rehman decides that it's time to mix things up and he changes his angle to around the stumps. There's less turn available though and Roach is able to prod away five balls before swinging away a sweep shot which alludes the fielder at backward square leg and runs away for four - the Windies go past 200!
Over 74 Ajmal 0-0-0-0-0-4
197-8 - Ravi Rampaul appeared to be reading Ajmal better than most of his teammates in the first innings but here he's all at seas as repeatedly off spinners beat his outside edge with once faint tickle falling short of one of the four men in close on the of side. The bowler then strays to the leg side with his final ball and the Rampaul duly cashes in, slinging fine to the fence.

193-8 - The old Roach-Rampaul combination now, they stuck around in the first innings but might find 70 overs a long stretch. Rehman beats the outside edge of the right-handed Roach who is all defence through a maiden over.
Over 72 Ajmal 0-1-0-0-1-W
193-8 - A forward push from Sammy escapes silly mid off's clutches and picks up a single as the Windies skipper goes to 41. Roach then plays through a similar area convincingly for a run of his own. WICKET! The end comes softly for Sammy with the right-hander flicking an off-spinner tamely out to midwicket who takes a simple catch. That was an encouraging innings from the Windies captain but far too brief. It must be said that Ajmal deserved the wicket of Sammy.

191-7 - As Mohammad Salman says for the upteenth time, lovely bowling, with Rehman consistently hitting a perfect length and Roach just managing to prod back for a maiden over.
Over 70 Ajmal 0-0-0-4-4-0
191-7 - After his initial troubles against Ajmal, Sammy has quite remarkably got to 32 already and he finds four more with a major wafts at a looping delivery - an edge goes through keeper Salman and down to the fence. Th Windies skipper's aggression has disrupted Ajmal who now drops short on his leg and is whipped away for a second consecutive boundary!
Over 69 Rehman 0-0-1-0-4-3
183-7 - Roach manages to push off the front foot to cover where Misbah puts in the big diving stop, but it's still a single and Roach is off the mark. For Sammy there are ample fielders on the off side - with the ball turning sharply there are two slips, a silly point and a short mid off, with men in the deep too. The indies skipper however is able to latch on a short ball which he cuts away to the fence and then picks up three more, again through the off side. And that is drinks!
Over 68 Ajmal 0-0-0-0-4-0
175-7 - Sammy muffles the doosra, not sure whether he read it or not but he covers the spin, and then takes advantage of a delivery on his toes to swipe through midwicket for four! That'll keep the close in fielders on their toes anyway.

171-7 - BOOM! OUT! Pakistan launch a major shout after Baugh is against struck on the front pad, but against umpire de Silva says not out. Again though Pakistan have called for the referral but this time it's going on to hit and Baugh has to go! The Windies keeper had been showing some fight and was the other not out batsman overnight so that's a useful breakthrough for the visitors who now welcome Kemar Roach to the crease. A comical incident ends the over with de Silva calling over up as Rehman is in his delivery stride of the seventh ball of the over!
Over 66 Ajmal 1-1-2-0-0-0
169-6 - Slightly too short from Ajmal allows both batsmen to pick singles and then Sammy forces into the covers off the backfoot or one - Ajmal though races after it and throws at the bowlers end to gift the Windies skipper an overthrow.
Over 65 Rehman 4-0-0-4-1-0
165-6 - Sammy gets one that rises and turns sharply and all he can do is fend away on the off side. Fortunately he picks the gap just wide of slip and it runs away for four. Not wanting to get dominated by the left-arm spinner, Sammy then picks a flihted delivery and chips over mid off for another boundary and with the fielder then moved back on the fence he follows up with an easy single down to long off.
Over 64 Ajmal 0-1-4b-0-0-0
156-6 - Michael Holding and Ramiz Raja are opening up a can of worms with a discussion over chuckers - Holding reckons Ajmal's doosra should be called for a no-ball because of his bent arm. Anyway he's too good for Sammy who escapes short leg to get a single and then the off spinner slips a delivery down the leg side which runs away for four byes.
Over 63 Rehman 0-0-0-0-0-0
151-6 - A major appeal from Pakistan for lbw against Baugh - it's given not out by Asoka de Silva, but Pakistan call for the referral. The delivery straightened down the line and hit him right in front, but because it's just taking off the bails the on-field call stays and Baugh gets a fortunate let off.
