Middlesex 165 (E J G Morgan 62) v Warwickshire 166-4 (I R Bell 60 no, N M Carter 56)
Warwickshire beat Middlesex by 6 wkts

Ian Bell hit an unbeaten 60 to see Warwickshire to a six-wicket triumph over Middlesex at Edgbaston.

Bell, recalled to the England squad for the second Test against West Indies, hit eight boundaries in a 82-ball knock as the Bears chased down a target of 166 with 14.2 overs to spare.

Warwickshire wicketkeeper Tim Ambrose had earlier claimed a one-day county record with seven dismissals - five catches and two stumpings - as Middlesex were skittled for 165.

Eoin Morgan and Dawid Malan shared a 79-run, fourth-wicket stand to rescue the visitors from 13-3.

But Malan's departure, stumped for 43 off Ant Botha, prompted a collapse that saw the final seven wickets tumble for 73 runs. Morgan was last out for a defiant 62.

Both teams now have four points in FP Trophy Group B, but sit outside the quarter-final qualification spots, currently occupied by Somerset and Kent.
