Stuart Binny steered Rajasthan Royals to a four-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their Indian Premier League season opener.
Binny's 48 not out from 32 balls saw the Royals to a target of 134 with three deliveries to spare after opener Ajinkya Rahane had set up the run chase with a more sedate 59.
They were the only two batsmen to make double figures, although with eight needed from the final over, James Faulkner (8no) finished the game by hitting Bhuvneshwar Kumar for consecutive fours from his first two balls faced.
The Sunrisers had earlier made 133-6 after being sent in to bat under floodlights in Abu Dhabi.
Skipper Shikhar Dhawan (38) and David Warner (32) put on 75 for the second wicket but there was no acceleration in the second half of the innings.
Rajasthan's bowlers kept the run-rate in check with Dhawal Kulkarni (2-23), Pravin Tambe (0-23) and Rajat Bhatia (2-22) all completing their full allocations at a cost of less than six-an-over.
