Rajasthan Royals moved back on top of the Indian Premier League table after consigning winless Deccan Chargers to a third successive defeat in Jaipur.
Chasing a daunting 197 for victory, Rajasthan were indebted to a swashbuckling unbeaten 48 from Australian veteran Brad Hodge as they surpassed the target with five wickets and two balls to spare.
Hodge and Dishant Yagnik required 11 runs for victory off Dale Steyn's final over and back-to-back boundaries from Yagnik ensured Deccan stay bottom of the table.
The Chargers were earlier thankful to a 94-run opening stand between skipper Kumar Sangakkara (44) and Shikhar Dhawan (52) that was broken by Hodge halfway through the innings.
Dhawan fell soon after, caught by Hodge off Siddharth Trivedi, but the scoring was taken over by JP Duminy (58 off 26) and Daniel Christian (29 off 19).
The duo combined for 88 runs, as Duminy smashed five sixes including a final over that yielded 18 off Amit Singh.
The Royals started well in reply as captain Rahul Dravid (42) put on 62 with Ajinkya Rahane (44), but wickets from Chargers spinner Amit Mishra (3-32) pegged them back in the middle overs.
England's Owais Shah scored just 12, but Hodge helped power his side over the line with a stunning 21-ball cameo.
