Lancashire beat Leicestershire by 37 runs
Twenty20 North Division leaders Lancashire claimed a 37-run victory over bottom side Leicestershire at Old Trafford on Sunday.
From their four over allocation Simon Marshall took 4-21 and Sajid Mahmood collected 3-22 to help condemn the Foxes to their third consecutive defeat in the competition.
Lancashire won the toss and elected to bat but after reaching a promising 163-5, they lost their remaining five wickets for the addition of just four more runs.
Kyle Hogg top-scored with a 24-ball 44 and Mal Loye hit 34 for the hosts with all-rounder Jim Allenby finishing with impressive figures of 5-21 for the Foxes.
Only Boeta Dippenaar (35) and Matthew Boyce (10) made double figures in reply for Leicestershire as they spluttered to 130-8 to remain rock-bottom.
