Lancashire beat Derbyshire by 8 wkts
Paul Horton's second successive Friends Provident Trophy century helped maintain Lancashire's unbeaten record in the competition.
The 26-year-old opener, who hit 100 against Northants last Sunday, guided the Lightning to an eight-wicket Group D success over Derbyshire Phantoms at Old Trafford. They top the group with three wins from three matches.
In reply to Derbyshire's 240 for six from their 50 overs, Mark Chilton also hit his fifth one-day career century, his first since August, 2004.
Horton, who became the fourth Lancashire player to record successive one-day hundreds, finished unbeaten on 111 and Chilton 101 not out.
After being invited to field Derbyshire were indebted to former West Indies batsman Wavell Hinds' highest score for the county, a 96-ball 95.
Hinds came in at the fall of the second wicket when former Lancashire captain Stuart Law was run out by Chilton for 18.
But Chilton made amends by reaching three figures with a six over mid-wicket off the bowling of Graham Wagg.
