Ambati Rayudu and Robin Peterson smashed Mumbai Indians to a four-wicket win over Kings XI Punjab in Mohali.
Chasing a target of 169, Rohit Sharma hit 50 off 30 balls but Mumbai were struggling on 137-6 with 32 needed off the final two overs.
Kings XI leg-spinner Piyush Chawla's penultimate over disappeared for 27 runs, including three sixes and two fours as Rayudu (34no) and Peterson (16no) combined to see their side across the line with a stand of 36 from 14 balls.
David Hussey (68no) and David Miller (34no) had earlier put on an unbroken fourth-wicket partnership of 89 as the Kings XI posted 168-3 after choosing to bat first.
The result moves Mumbai up to sixth in the IPL table, two places above the Kings XI.
