Mumbai Indians beat Kings XI Punjab by 8 wkts

Dwayne Bravo's 70 not out led the Mumbai Indians to an eight-wicket victory over the Kings XI Punjab at Centurion Park.

The Trinidad all-rounder hit seven fours and three sixes during a 59-ball knock as the Indians chased down a target of 120 with 3.4 overs to spare.

Bravo shared an unbroken 82-run, third-wicket alliance with his captain Sachin Tendulkar (41no) after the early departures of Sanath Jayasuriya (4) and Ajinkya Rahone (1).

The Kings XI had mustered a below-par score of 119-9 in their 20 overs after opting to bat first.

Only opening batsman Sunny Sohal (43) and number eight Karan Goel (20no) made any impression against a disciplined Mumbai bowling attack.
