Holland vs Sussex

Yorkshire Bank 40: Rain pain for Sussex in Schiedam

Rain: Sussex's YB40 trip to Schiedam was ruined by inclement weather

Lewis Hatchett: Sussex seamer struck twice in brief passage of play

The Netherlands and Sussex managed to complete only 10.2 overs of their Yorkshire Bank 40 Group A clash at Schiedam before it was abandoned due to heavy rain.

Having won the toss, the visitors elected to field and notched two early wickets, with the bowling of Lewis Hatchett seeing off Stephanus Myburgh (2) then, via Joe Gatting's catch, Wesley Barresi (4).

The Netherlands had made it to 28-0 when weather forced the players indoors.

And they remained there as the rain continued to fall, eventually prompting umpires Rob Bailey and Jeff Evans to abandon the contest.
