Rain denied Hampshire the chance of victory in their Division Two opener against Leicestershire at the Ageas Bowl.
The entire fourth day's play was wiped out by the terrible weather, as well as much of the third day, allowing the Foxes to somehow escape with a share of the spoils after being asked to follow on.
After Hampshire declared on 454-7 on Thursday, Leicestershire were skittled out for 143 by the end of the day.
They limped to 182-5 on a rain-affected third day with Ned Eckersley holding up the hosts with a superb 99no.
Danny Briggs (2-32) was looking dangerous with the pitch taking some turn but Saturday's wash-out denied the left-armer the chance to add to his tally.
Eckersley will not be too disappointed to have missed out on what would have been his third first-class century, with rain ensuring not a ball was bowled.
Hampshire's dominance saw them come away with 11 points, the Foxes taking five.
