Twenty20 Cup - Midlands/West/Wales Division
Gloucestershire 158-4 Innings Complete v Warwickshire 158-6 (T Frost 53)
Gloucestershire tied with Warwickshire
An extraordinary match ended in a tie with Ian Westwood edging the final ball for four after Tony Frost had taken Warwickshire to the brink with 53 off 33 balls.
Gloucester paceman Anthony Ireland added to the drama by being removed from the attack after being hit for six in the 17th over before sending down successive full-tosses over waist height.
The visitors had needed 60 from the last four overs but by the time Marcus North had completed the 17th the Bears were back in with a chance, with 14 required off the last over.
Frost was caught off the first ball but Tim Groenewald (39 not out) hit the next for six and although Jon Lewis kept it tight, he brought up fine leg and third man for the final ball and it proved crucial as Westwood edged it over short third man for a match-saving boundary.
Hamish Marshall had starred for Gloucestershire with 46 from 31 deliveries while North (31 from 29 balls) and Mark Hardinges (33 off 25) added late impetus.
