Somerset's bid to reach the Friends Life t20 quarter-finals was held up after rain forced the abandonment of their match against Glamorgan without a ball bowled at the Swalec Stadium.
It was the Welsh Dragons' fifth of nine matches so far in the t20 campaign to end as a no result because of rain.
Heavy rain had been falling in Cardiff since 2.30pm and umpires Neil Bainton and Mark Benson had no choice but to call the match off at 7pm.
Somerset now have just one more crucial group match against Worcestershire at New Road on Sunday.
Glamorgan, who have only won one match so far - a rain-affected game against Warwickshire, face their last match against the Bears at Edgbaston on Sunday.
