Bangladesh vs India
India win by six wickets
So, both captains scored centuries today - just the second time that's happened in an ODI - but as usual it's Virat Kohli's ton that is the match-winning one. He's got an incredible 19 ODI hundreds now, and 17 of them have come in India wins. That's a formidable record. Bangladesh looked like they might be in with a shout when they nipped out India's openers, but they simply couldn't find a way past Kohli. Join us again tomorrow at the same time for Pakistan's match against Afghanistan, which is sure to be a humdinger. Until then, goodbye!
Over 49 - India 280/4 (Rayudu 9, Karthik 2)
They've done it in singles! Eventually! Rayudu nudges one to midwicket to take them level, and Karthik seals the game with a gentle tap to cover.
Over 48 - India 276/4 (Rayudu 6, Karthik 1)
WICKET! This game is coming to an anti-climactic end. Now Rahane departs, chipping Gazi to the sub fielder - Imrul Kayes - at long on. Oh, and a pair of singles end the over.
Over 47 - India 271/3 (Rahane 73, Rayudu 3)
'We can do this in singles,' Rahane said to Rayudu when he came to the crease. Probably. Maybe. Either way, they're content with three singles off Nasir's over as this chase stretches on a little further.
Over 46 - India 268/3 (Rahane 72, Rayudu 1)
WICKET! Oh Virat. He can't quite take India home today, but this will be another match-winning hundred. Rahane had just glanced a boundary to midwicket, with the deflated Bangladeshis barely bothering to chase after it, and then Rubel steamed in to rattle Kohli's stumps with a great yorker. Kohli was a little slow to get the bat down. He's probably a little tired after the 18 boundaries he's hit.
Over 45 - India 262/2 (Kohli 136, Rahane 67)
Kohli celebrates taking this partnership past 200 with an almost effortless flick to midwicket to raise his second six off Gazi. No-one's had an answer to him today. That's hardly a problem only Bangladesh have faced.
Over 44 - India 252/2 (Kohli 128, Rahane 65)
Another fabulous stroke from Rahane, this time off the quick bowler, Rubel. He really just leaned into this shot, checking it as he did so, but the ball met the very middle of the bat and there was no stopping it. Ah, and things get a little worse for Bangladesh as Mushfiqur, who dived to try to stop the boundary, seems to have hurt his shoulder.
Over 43 - India 244/2 (Kohli 127, Rahane 58)
Now it's Rahane exhibiting his shot-making. He shuffles into position as Nasir Hossain lobs down an offspinner, lifting the ball handsomely over extra cover for a one-bounce four. This stand is now worth a mammoth 190 runs.
Over 42 - India 237/2 (Kohli 126, Rahane 53)
I've lost count of all the boundaries Kohli has hit. With the result as good as sealed, he's helping himself now. He walked out at Rubel - who's now medium pacer - and flat-bats the ball over mid-off for four more. Start the tuk-tuk.
Over 41 - India 229/2 (Kohli 119, Rahane 52)
There's no stopping Virat Kohli. Razzak comes on to bowl his last over, and is greeted with a perfectly placed chip to midwicket, and a thunder-crack of a drive through extra cover. He helps himself to two more runs before handing the strike to Rahane, and 12 runs have come from the over to spoil Razzak's figures.
Over 40 - India 217/2 (Kohli 108, Rahane 51)
A wicket! Or is it? No! Rubel came back into the attack, and after conceding a boundary on the leg side that took Rahane to fifty it looked as if he might have managed to prize Rahane out. The batsman slapped a short ball to midwicket, where Mominul tumbled to take the catch. It looked clean at first, but the Umpires want to have another look ... and it's ruled not out! That was probably Bangladesh's last, slim hope.
Over 39 - India 213/2 (Kohli 108, Rahane 47)
Well, Bangladesh fans have apparently seen enough of this. They're starting to leave the ground. Kohli hurries them on their way with yet another boundary off Razzak, who offers up a very short delivery that was just asking to be hit. The required rate may well soon dip below a run a ball.
Over 38 - India 207/2 (Kohli 103, Rahane 46)
A century to Kohli! He gets to the mark with a little dab to third man off Mortaza. From here, you'd probably count on him to guide India home. This is his 19th ODI ton, and will be his 17th in a winning cause - if India do win. Which looks pretty likely.
Over 37 - India 201/2 (Kohli 99, Rahane 44)
In Mortaza and Razzak, Bangladesh have their two best (available) bowlers on, but it's not making a great deal of difference right now. Rahane is starting to strike the ball beautifully, and he steps out to lift Razzak to deep cover. Kohli, meanwhile, moves to 99 with a single to long off.
Over 36 - India 193/2 (Kohli 97, Rahane 38)
Mortaza continues, but now Kohli spots his slower ball early and moves through the 90s with a smoking shot down the ground. A single puts Rahane on strike, but he's still not seeing them quite as well as Kohli is (who does, these days?) and there's a very enthusiastic shout for lbw as he swipes across the line and is hit on the pad. The Umpire is unmoved, and indeed Hawkeye suggests that would have gone down leg.
Over 35 - India 186/2 (Kohli 90, Rahane 38)
Nasir Hossain into the attack now, yet another offspinner for Bangladesh. He offers more control than Naeem had, but can't stop the flow of runs. Right, it's Powerplay time people. Best strap yourselves in, this could get bumpy.
Over 34 - India 180/2 (Kohli 86, Rahane 36)
Now Mortaza comes back. India still need over 100 at a run a ball, but that total is going to come down very quickly if these two - and especially Kohli - remain at the crease. Mortaza's first over back is a good one, and he soon opts for that canny slower ball, but still five runs come from it.
Over 33 - India 175/2 (Kohli 83, Rahane 34)
There is indeed a change in the attack, but it's offspinner Naeem Islam who's brought on. Suffice to say, his is one of the worse overs you're likely to see. His first delivery is a full toss, which is laced down the ground by Kohli. Naeem follows that up with three consecutive leg-side wides. Kohli offers the strike to Rahane, who cashes in with a spanking drive of his own to deep cover. A whopping 15 runs come from the over, and the partnership swells to 121.
Over 32 - India 160/2 (Kohli 76, Rahane 29)
Mominul's length is too short in this over once again. His second delivery is an out-and-out long-hop, and Kohli isn't going to miss out, slapping yet another boundary. Mushfiqur is looking decidedly short on viable options. It's surely time to bring Mashrafe back, as the senior bowler.
Over 31 - India 153/2 (Kohli 70, Rahane 28)
India go past 150 with yet another boundary off Kohli's blade. There was a hint of bottom edge to the shot, but it's the result that counts. Kohli's motoring along at a run a ball, keeping the run rate in check and the target in sight.
