England Lions suffered an emphatic 122-run defeat in their second unofficial one-day international against Australia A in Hobart.
Australia No 3 Joe Burns did the damage, smashing 114 off 136 deliveries to help the hosts to 315-7 off their 50 overs.
Callum Ferguson also weighed in with 74 off 78 balls as Australia recovered from the worst possible start.
Stuart Meaker had removed home captain Aaron Finch with the first delivery of the match, Varun Chopra taking the catch.
However Burns shared stands of 78 with Alex Doolan (31) and 128 with Ferguson before Rikki Clarke brought his innings to an end, the all-rounder going on to pick up 4-55.
In reply, Lions captain James Taylor did his best to keep his side in the hunt with 79 but he lacked support.
Chopra (38) and Gary Ballance (23) seemed well set before departing, but the next best score was 10 as England were dismissed for 193 to trail 2-0 in the five-match series.
The next match is at Hobart on Friday and then in Sydney on Monday and Friday of next week.
