Patrick Kane had a three-point night as the Chicago Blackhawks forced game seven in the Western Conference final with a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings.

The defending champions looked down and out as goals from Drew Doughty and Alec Martinez put the Kings 3-2 up with 12 minutes to play but Duncan Keith levelled the scores before Kane's goal tied the series at 3-3.

Dwight King had earlier put LA ahead in the first period but Kane and Ben Smith had Chicago in the lead before the dramatic third period unfolded.

The series decider will take place on Sunday in Chicago.
