Elite League leaders Belfast Giants hammered struggling Cardiff 11-4 in south Wales on Sunday.

Kevin Saurette scored four goals and Jeffrey Szwez added three for the Giants, who scored seven times in a wild second period.

Second-placed Dundee trail the Giants by 13 points, with two games in hand, following a 4-2 win over Fife Flyers.

Nottingham Panthers went fourth with a 5-3 win over Coventry Blaze, while Hull Stringrays edged out Edinburgh Capitals 5-3 in a shoot-out in Scotland.
