Anaheim Ducks made it ten straight wins following victory over Phoenix Coyotes
The Anaheim Ducks extended their winning streak to 10 games on Sunday with a 3-2 NHL victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.
Saku Koivu, who opened the scoring in the first period and had an assist in Andrew Cogliano's goal at 05:04 in the third, grabbed the winner 51 seconds into overtime after Martin Hanzal and Keith Yandle had scored in the final five minutes of regulation to get the visitors back to 2-2.
Thomas Greiss made 38 saves for Phoenix but could not prevent his side slipping to a sixth loss in seven games.
Goals in the first 80 seconds of the third period, from Brendan Smith and Gustav Nyquist, snapped a 2-2 tie at BB&T Center and the Detroit Red Wings held on for a 4-3 win against the Florida Panthers.

Bobby Ryan grabbed an unassisted breakaway winner at 15:25 of the third period to edge the Ottawa Senators past the Boston Bruins 4-3.
Travis Zajac deflected Marek Zidlicky's slap shot into the net with 6:57 left in regulation to hand the New Jersey Devils a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Mike Fisher's second goal of the game, with 27 second left on the clock, handed the Nashville Predators a 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings.
Lars Eller scored the lone goal in a shootout to earn the Montreal Canadiens a 2-1 success against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and Michael Raffl scored the shootout winner for the Philadelphia Flyers in a 4-3 success against the Edmonton Oilers.
