Dundee Stars bounced back from Friday night's defeat by Belfast Giants to claim a 7-0 victory at Cardiff in the Elite League.

Dundee had started the season with four straight wins before going down to the Giants but they produced a perfect response on Saturday.

Nico Sacchetti led the way with two goals with Brock McPherson, Billy Bagron, Jerry Pollastrone, Nikita Kashirsky and Lewis McIntosh all contributing.

Edinburgh Capitals came from 2-0 down to post a 5-3 victory over Hull Stingrays.

Omar Pacha and Guillaume Doucet gave the Stingrays a two-goal cushion after just 4:19 of the first period only for Tomas Horna to hit back for the Scottish team.

Curtis Leinweber scored twice to give Edinburgh a 3-2 lead only for Carl Lauzon to level but Martin Cingel and Richard Hartmann gave the Capitals victory.

Coventry Blaze beat Fife Flyers 2-1 after a penalty shootout.

Stephen Gunn put Fife ahead only for Michael Henrich to level for the Blaze but no further goals saw the game go to extra time and then a shootout.

Henrich scored the decisive goal to give the Blaze victory.
