Elite League winners Nottingham Panthers celebrated their title by edging out Cardiff Devils 4-3 in a shootout at the National Ice Centre.

The Panthers were to be presented with the trophy after the game, but were made to wait for the party to start as the Devils pushed them all the way.

Eric Werner eventually got the decisive goal in the shoot-out to allow the celebrations to begin.

Steve Birnstill got the second of his two goals in the third period as the Braehead Clan edged out Dundee Stars 4-3 north of the border.
