Jakob Silfverberg scored twice to guide the Ottawa Senators to a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

Guillaume Latendresse and Kyle Turris were also on target for the Senators, while Zach Bogosian tallied for the Jets.

The Edmonton Oilers beat the Nashville Predators 3-2 and the Washington Capitals were 5-2 winners over the Buffalo Sabres.
