Nottingham Panthers moved into second place in the Elite League with a 5-1 win over Dundee Stars.

It was a third straight win for the Panthers and they are now just two points behind leaders Belfast Giants as Dundee crashed to their sixth defeat in a row.

Coventry Blaze also stretched their winning run to three matches by triumphing by the same scoreline against Braehead Clan.

Elsewhere, bottom side Edinburgh Capitals upset fellow strugglers Hull Stingrays, who crashed to their third successive loss, 6-2.
