Braehead Clan exacted revenge for last Sunday's defeat to the Hull Stingrays with a 7-2 victory in the Elite League on Thursday.

There was controversy before the game even started with Adam Walker unable to play as he was not listed on the game sheet.

The Clan opened up a two-goal cushion in the first period courtesy of goals from Drew Miller and Ash Goldie, the first goal coming after 13 seconds.

However, the Stingrays hit back courtesy of a brace from Jereme Tendler.

Robert Farmer restored Braehead's lead in the second period before Miller's second of the game restored their two-goal advantage.

The Clan dominated the third period. Miller completed his hat-trick before second goals of the game from Farmer and Goldie sealed the romp for the Scottish club.
