The Stingrays now sit just two points behind the Clan in sixth after condemning their Scottish opponents to a fourth loss in a row.

Jason Silverthorn opened the scoring for the home side in the first period but Ed McGrane's goal meant the teams went in all square after 20 minutes.

There were no goals in the second but Silverthorn put the Stingrays back ahead in the third stanza and Guillaume Doucet grabbed a third to seal the win.
