French Derby winner The Grey Gatsby is on course for a return trip across the Channel for Saturday's Grand Prix de Paris at Longchamp.
Kevin Ryan's colt will be tackling an extra couple of furlongs on this occasion, but has impressed since stepping up from a mile as he also landed the Dante Stakes at York.
"He had a little break at the National Stud after his last run but he got fresh very quickly," Ryan told At The Races.
"We decided it was a long time between his last run and the Juddmonte at York. He was in this race and it will answer some questions if he stays a mile and a half or not.
"He wouldn't want extreme conditions so we'll keep an eye on the forecast, and he won't leave until Thursday anyway."
Among The Grey Gatsby's 13 possible rivals are Prince Gibraltar, a big fancy for the French Derby who finished far too late and took third.
Aidan O'Brien has Mekong River and Carlo Bugatti engaged while the other possible British challenger is John Gosden's Marzocco.
