Pique Sous could return to England
The Goodwood Cup and the Ebor at York are among a number of options under consideration for Royal Ascot hero Pique Sous.
Willie Mullins' talented dual-purpose grey clinched the Queen Alexandra Stakes at the summer showpiece meeting and connections initially considered letting him turn out for last weekend's Northumberland Plate at Newcastle.
However, Ireland's champion trainer decided to give his seven-year-old more time to recover from his Ascot exertions and the Supreme Horse Racing Club are exciting to see what the rest of the season has in store.
Supreme racing manager Steve Massey said: "He came out of Ascot really well and we're looking at a number of staying races in England, Ireland and France for him.
"We'll keep our options open and the ground will obviously be a key factor in deciding where we go as he loves quicker ground.
"There's the Goodwood Cup, the Ebor has been mentioned and there's also a race at Deauville, so we'll wait and see where we end up.
"I think we'll probably give him a speculative entry in the Galway Hurdle as well. I think his future is on the Flat, but he looks very well handicapped over hurdles and we'd be daft not to put him in at Galway, just in case the ground in Britain or France came up too soft.
"We're all still on a high after Ascot and if we can keep him right and he gets his ground, hopefully we'll have an exciting summer with him.
"As always, we will leave it up to Willie to decide where he goes."
